Today an upgrade of our iPhone Application made it into the App Store. The change is hardly recognizable on the iPhone but still opens the world of Memonic to a brand new device: the iPad.

We redesigned the iPhone application to become a “Universal Application”. That means that both – the iPhone and iPad apps – are bundled into one download that can be installed on both type of devices. When you run the universal application on your iPhone, you will see the small-screen optimized version as we had it before, but when you run the app on your iPad, you’ll see the larger, iPad-only version. And it’s not just a blown up, oversized iPhone app. It is made specifically for the iPad and takes advantage of the additional screen space. 

The Memonic iPhone/iPad application is a perfect companion for our webservice when you are on the move. Simply synchronize all your Items and Sets to your mobilde device and look at them where-ever you are. Even when you are not connected to the internet. Furthermore it allows you to quickly create notes or save pictures to Memonic.
