New Office, New Us!

 

Nobody likes moving, but at Memonic – we made it fun!! This past week, Memonic packed up and moved into shiny new offices.

The move was inevitable. Over the past year, the Memonic team doubled in size – and thus necessitated a bigger space. This was a bittersweet realization, since we dearly loved our neighbors – LIIP (though we didn’t so much love the noise from their Foosball tables and frequent matches). more »

Are Blogs SO Over?

 

Apparently, questioning whether blogging is “so over” is the order of the day. This topic of discussion rises again and again at tech conferences like Le Web, and we have experienced it ourselves in personal conversations with peers in various industries. Can it be? Is blogging really dead?

In the early Nineties, blogging came into our lives like a breath of fresh air. Before reality TV and the fabulousness of Facebook – this was the way to make a splash with your day and share with the world. Sharing anything became chic. Bloggers with any kind of following got book deals. Video blogs were innovative, and managed at times to override established media vehicles. We, the audience, ate it up. But just as the Internet has dramatically evolved over the last ten years from a self-publishing into a real -time broadcasting platform, so has blogging.
